These few days have mostly been about cells. For the past few science lessons, we studied the different types of cells. And then today, we did DNA extraction of a strawberry. So fun!We studied the onion cell and the cheek cell. The image was not really clear, couldn't see the specific parts of the onion cell. The cheek cell was even worse: it was super tiny that I seriuosly doubt that we had done it correctly.
Today's DNA extraction was quite squashy. We had to put the strwaberries in a ziploc bag and squash them. The result? Super red and juicy strawberry juice. Kind of disgusting in a sense.
And the similarity among all these? They have to do with cells. Kind of boring and disgusting at the same time. The boys will start thinking about all those specific cells, which erupts laughter. I really pity Ms Pu for having to go through all this every time.
Something that does not concern cells: History test. Had it on Wednesday. I was like shit; I don't know how to do. Ended up writing a whole load of rubbish for each and every question. So you can imagine how lengthy my script would be. The best part? I am not the only one. For precaution, most of my classmates wrote very long structured answers too. Phew!
I really can' t stand people who are so full of themselves, thinking that they are the only ones who are right. Disapproves of what others do with a very dirty sideway glance. Feel like bashing her up. Can even comment on other's effort in the project when she herself merely just gathered whatever had been sent to her into the newsletter. See boys laugh laugh laugh. She only interviewed a few people and took only that miserable number of pictures. And she still has the cheek to want to claim all the credit. I seriously feel like scolding her until she cries out MAMA.
Well, that's roughly what happened for this week. Hope that next week would be better!
