Exams and yes! Autonomous Status!

Had the English and Chinese exams for the past few days. Hence, have not been updating blog at all.
The English paper was kind of difficult. In fact, so was the Chinese. In fact, where on earth are exams easy?
On Tuesday, a senior minister of don't know what what came to visit our school. If I am not mistaken, his name should be Mr Iswaran. Don't even know how he looks like, not even supposed to walk around or go to the toilets from 9am to 11am. Total torture! Then had to stay back for assembly. However, most of us already knew what the assembly was about. And we were proved right.
The video and presentation kept having technical problems. In the end, the suspense was no longer that thrilling that the principal resorted to telling us about the good news himself. Then we scream and cheer just because others did the same. Monkey see, monkey do.
Hope that Yishun Town will continue to succeed. We Will Excel!

All was well...Until ThEy came

Today, I stayed back with some others to clean the fern lounge and the eco garden. I was posted to clean the fern lounge. Wan Rong and I went to the Eco Garden group to get more people and in the end, we got Jia Yi over. Then we went to get rags. When we reached the fern lounge, the people inside were screaming hysterically. Turns out that they had seen a very large and black and striped lizard. Well, it looked like a lizard anyway. Then I helped to wipe mop and do some other things when the lizard reappeared. We were all screaming away. Jia Qi and I used to the broom to chase it away. Pity that we didn't take a photo of it.
Then Ms Pou came to buy drinks for us. Jia Qi and I helped to distribute them. And then later Ming Jun and Alvin needed scotchtapes to tape some of the board games. Again, we went to ask Ms Pou for it and she told us to get it from the general office.
The journey to the general office was very unpleasant. The clerk gave us this massive dirty look when we required scotchtaped from her. We went through a lot to get just two pathetic rolls of scotchtapes. However, they are of very good quality. But we did not ask for such a good quality, we could make do with the normal type. Seriously, the clerks at the office rots.
Then we went back to the fern lounge and told the rest to finish the scotchtapes as the clerk told us to return them if they were any leftover. As we were not happy with the attitudes of the clerk, we told the rest to finish them. The rest were more than glad to help us finish them. Applause.
Do this then do that. All the furnitures were later moved out and Jia Qi and I started to sweep the floors. And then mopped it. We have to thank Clerissa for sacrificing herself by carrying that heavy pail of water. Thank you, thank you!
When we have finished mopping the insides, we mopped the outsides. The rest were taking a break as Jia Qi and I were mopping. Then Ming Jun showed up. With Them. The Them are those people from the Eco Garden. They just started saying that they wanted to help with the mopping. We said that we could handle it and had finished mopping the insides. Then, some people started to take the cloth that we used to wipe the walls, bookshelves and all and started wiping the floor. Yes, the floor with very dirty cloths that had been wiped clean already. Then Xin Mei took the mop that we used to kill insects and started wiping. I can't think of it, we used it to get rid of the insects! Then she went inside when Jia Qi and I started to mop inside again. She was there complaining of what a poor job we have done and Jia Qi and I were there exchanging glances with one another. She was overboard. If she was so super, she should have just split herself into two and be at the Eco Garden and Fern Lounge at the same time. In the end, Jia Qi and I went out to rest since the group that had just arrived was so super.
Seriously, why did they have to spoil such a nice day?!

Math Test

Seriously, I am hopping mad with Ms Tham. She only told as not to go according to the class clock when the paper was about to end. And there was only four minutes left. I was like shit! I still have so many questions to do. And you are telling me not to go according to the class clock only up till now? What the heck is that?!
Ended up anyhow doing the last few questions. I got my brain blocked due to the time constraint and all. Thus, a lot of marks go flying away, just like that. Sad...Will get scolding from parents. Their scolding will be like rain falling heavily on you. Hmmm...Must be mentally prepared for all those. Ear plugs: checked, Pillow: checked. Now, what else do I still need?

Cells

These few days have mostly been about cells. For the past few science lessons, we studied the different types of cells. And then today, we did DNA extraction of a strawberry. So fun!
We studied the onion cell and the cheek cell. The image was not really clear, couldn't see the specific parts of the onion cell. The cheek cell was even worse: it was super tiny that I seriuosly doubt that we had done it correctly.
Today's DNA extraction was quite squashy. We had to put the strwaberries in a ziploc bag and squash them. The result? Super red and juicy strawberry juice. Kind of disgusting in a sense.
And the similarity among all these? They have to do with cells. Kind of boring and disgusting at the same time. The boys will start thinking about all those specific cells, which erupts laughter. I really pity Ms Pu for having to go through all this every time.
Something that does not concern cells: History test. Had it on Wednesday. I was like shit; I don't know how to do. Ended up writing a whole load of rubbish for each and every question. So you can imagine how lengthy my script would be. The best part? I am not the only one. For precaution, most of my classmates wrote very long structured answers too. Phew!
I really can' t stand people who are so full of themselves, thinking that they are the only ones who are right. Disapproves of what others do with a very dirty sideway glance. Feel like bashing her up. Can even comment on other's effort in the project when she herself merely just gathered whatever had been sent to her into the newsletter. See boys laugh laugh laugh. She only interviewed a few people and took only that miserable number of pictures. And she still has the cheek to want to claim all the credit. I seriously feel like scolding her until she cries out MAMA.
Well, that's roughly what happened for this week. Hope that next week would be better!

The Debate Rocked, Speech Sucked

Went to Hwa Chong Institution to watch the final debate between River Valley and St. Nicholas. This was a chinese debate, not english. Most of the debaters were like from China, their accent gave them away. They spoke very fast, which was like so difficult for me to catch what they were saying. I wondered if the judges truly understood what the people from China were saying.
There was this one guy from River Valley. When he started talking, we all laughed, especially the supporters from St. Nicholas. Why? Because his accent was like so thick that when he spoke, it came out all weird. Then the fourth debater from St. Nicholas was more suited to be a TV Reporter. She kept describing how the debaters from River Valley spoke. She could even kept track of how many times she had been repeating the points over again. So funny.
Overall, it was very entertaining. The worst part of this trip, well besides the stench of the bus seats, the auditorium was like damn cold. I was literally freezing. Because of that, visited the toilets for two times. And there was like no time for break. I had breakfast at 6 plus a.m. So by the time the debate was halfway finished, I was starving. Felt like throwng up. The MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh had to make it worst by giving us a speech of her background: which secondary school she went to and where she went to for work. Everyone was like bored to sleep by her speech that they eventually went to sleep.
In the end, St. Nicholas won. My school was like what? We expected River Valley to win. Well, what was done has been done, we cannot rewrite history. Anyways, it was a very entertaning debate and an eye-opening one too!

Damn you!

Seriously, my class has some people who needs to get themselves checked. Always so into boys and dragging the innocent down along with her. Some friend. No wonder not many people likes her. See a boy, go hysteric, laugh and run. And knowing that the boy likes another person instead of her, still try to make him like her. What the heck is exactly wrong with her?
Then, I ignored her and went with my other friends to some place. Who asked her to always stare at her phone and message him. So irritating. Like that, she also angry. Can scold me on her blog some more. Never mind. I also scold back lorh. Who ask her to be like that. She deserves this. So into boys and not into reality.

I was like WoW!

Seriously, I am beginning to get sick and tired of Maths lessons. The lessons are like just so boring. And I had two periods of Maths today. The teacher was like showing us how to solve Geometry problems on her laptop and talking to herself and only the first few front rows of people. I was like there copying down the answers and decorating my table. The teacher must have realised how bored we were as she gave us a break to visit the toilet to wash our faces. A whole group of people went out to the toilet. I wondered if the teacher was shocked at how many people her lessons actually bored them.
When I came back from the toilet, we were told to do some warm-ups as the teacher had heard that we will not be bored during P.E. lessons. Had to do jumping jacks in school uniform. The skirts of the girls would probably be flying up and down, up and down. No, I was just exaggerating. I just moved my hands up and down and my feet in and out. It was a miracle that I survived the two whole periods of Maths. WOw!
Then had a letter writing test. I wrote and elaborated, in the fear that I wasn't writing enough. I wrote that my arms ached like what. I think next time, I need an ambulance on stand-by next time I do letter writing.
Did a performance for assembly today. It was my class turn to perform. We had to perform a skit on excellence. I acted as the student and was like sitting beside Zane who had to "trip" Jia Ying. When Jia Ying gathered herself up after the "trip", she had to do this I'm watching you action. I was just beside her and it was so funny.
And then there was Calvin, who acted as Felicia's mother. He wore a wig and had big fat curlers in it. He walked and talked in such a funny manner that us students who had to apparently freeze could not execute our talent of freezing properly. All of us were like there giggling. Really, thanks to Calvin. Overall, the performance was quite an enjoyment.
I found out a secret today. I can't tell it out but it's earth-shattering, really. And oh ya, do remember to say shit more often as shitting is good for your health. It helps you to pass out all your toxic. But do not say it too often, it may harm your body instead of helping it!
